John is inspiring and equipping local people to determine their own future with their own resources. He coordinates a process that assists the church among the Pokot people in Kenya as they work with their community to make positive change and become less dependent. He coordinates the church and community mobilization process in partnership with the Africa Inland Church and its 24 churches in the area. Encouraging them to develop new skills and expertise with the resources they have.

ICR (International Christian Response) is an organization dedicated to supporting persecuted Christians around the world. Their mission is to provide spiritual and material assistance that enables these Christians to persevere, proclaim the Gospel, and plant churches in countries hostile to their faith. ICR provides both spiritual and material aid to Christians facing persecution. This includes advocacy, medical assistance, care for widows and orphans, and safe houses.

Tim and Debbie are missionaries with Cru’s Nations at Montana State University, where they lead a campus ministry focused on First Nations and Native American students. For 22 years, they’ve also organized over 450 Native people on mission trips to Baja, Mexico. Their main project is “Nations,” a university club at Montana State, which hosts 30–40 students for food, games, and messages about Jesus. Understanding the historical challenges Native people face regarding Christianity, the Bryces prioritize building personal relationships and leverage their respected status as elders within Native culture to foster connection and trust.

Envision Mission is dedicated to creating authentic Christian community in downtown Bellingham, Washington. They strive to counter the busyness and loneliness of American culture by fostering relationships centered on Jesus. They emphasizes that life is about relationships, beginning with Jesus. Even if you’re not yet interested in a spiritual relationship, you’re welcome to explore what they’re doing. They also operate The Summit House, a transitional discipleship program for men and women. This program helps individuals in recovery re‑enter the church and workplace, relying on support from local churches to operate effectively.

Dustin, Melissa, and their three children are missionaries working toward the ambitious goal of seeing a gospel movement started among the Thai people. Having immersed themselves in the culture and language, they work alongside local believers to encourage and equip them to share the gospel, disciple new believers, and plant churches. They use practical platforms like teaching English and coaching to build relationships within the community.

Chad and Dara Vanden Bosch serve in Mozambique at New Harvest Farm, which teaches resilient farming practices to help local farmers overcome extreme weather and severe poverty. Using full irrigation ponds fed by natural springs, they cultivate crops and raise livestock to model sustainable agriculture. In partnership with Audio Scripture Ministries, they also provide palliative care and distribute audio Bibles. The central goal of all their work is sharing the gospel in a way that resonates with people’s hearts.

The busy, teeming streets of Bangalore or a quiet rural village. No matter where you go in India, you will hear many languages; more than 1,600 are spoken. Currently, the Bible is translated into only about 250 of those languages. However, with more than 60% of India’s population not being able to read, many people are unable to access God’s Word. James and Anita Sundararajan work together with Cassette Outreach of India to make God’s word accessible to those who otherwise may never have the opportunity to read and study God’s Word.

Susan works on campus at the University of Oregon as an Associate Campus Minister. She teaches art at the university and continues to grow in her own studies. Her kind and joyful personality shines in the university setting as she pursues, models, and teaches intimacy with God. She uses community‑building activities such as Coffee and Crafts to build friendships with the students. Her love for the students is evident, and as those relationships grow and develop, she’s able to open a conversation about faith and share the light of Jesus with them. She’s a blessing to many students in a setting that often doesn’t embrace spiritual truth.

YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Boston is a Christian missionary organization dedicated to training and mobilizing young adults to share the gospel and serve others, both within New England and globally. Their core is the Discipleship Training School (DTS), an intensive, multi‑month program. Participants deepen their faith through three months of classroom learning, then apply it in several‑week practical field assignments, which often include multi‑media gospel productions, community service, and international travel, all designed to prepare them for global missions. YWAM Boston also offers specialized training in areas like creative arts in worship and engages in various local ministries, including youth work and worship workshops.

Patrick and Alexis McClure are experienced educators and missionaries serving children and schools. After school leadership roles in the US, they felt a divine call to Bundibugyo, Uganda, where Patrick led school development and Alexis focused on teaching and teacher training. They are now in Nairobi, Kenya, with Patrick serving as Programs Officer for the Association of Christian Schools International – Kenya, developing schools and training educators. Alexis is settling their four children (Beckett, Adrienne, Zane, and Hadley) into their new home while seeking her next ministry.

Nate and Taylor Stockman moved to Oregon in August 2022 to re‑pioneer The Navigators’ ministry at Oregon State University (OSU), which had become dormant during the pandemic. Their passion is to help students know Christ, make Him known, and equip them to do the same. They accomplish this through small‑group Bible studies and one‑on‑one “Life‑to‑Life discipleship,” where they teach students to apply the Word of God to their lives and train them to pass on what they’ve learned to others. The Stockman’s also recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl, into their family this year.

Project Hope Food Bank assists individuals and families living within the Lynden Area (Lynden School District boundaries) who are struggling with food insufficiency. Project Hope Community Assistance Program helps community members with short‑term, emergency assistance, which may include utilities, rent, clothing, household goods, laundry, and fuel. Their Mandate is “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and with all your mind and with all your” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:30–31)

John’s heart has long been with France, having prayed for the nation for over 30 years. He is actively involved in ministry on the ground, serving as a key member of a church planting team in Paris. He organizes and promotes prayer, networking, and collaboration amongst Christian churches, missionaries, and ministries. He reaches out to refugee communities in the Paris region to reach them with the gospel and help with their needs. John also attends here at Victory and is a dear friend to our community.

Nicole Opgenorth works with Tesoros de Dios (God’s Treasures), a partner of RCA Global Mission in Managua, Nicaragua, which provides equine and physical therapy, as well as special education, to people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. As a missionary, Nicole amplifies the voices of beneficiaries like Freddy by listening to their stories and sharing them with supporters. Her role is to show how donations empower these individuals and their families to reach their full potential. She also serves as a cultural and language translator for visiting groups.

New Way Ministries, operating under the Christian Hope Association, is a local non‑profit, Christian organization that provides transitional housing and comprehensive support for homeless women and their children. This includes mothers facing issues like addiction, domestic violence, human trafficking, or crisis pregnancies. They provide 24‑hour staff and support, offering resources and guidance to help families break cycles of poverty and find a new, stable path. They also offer specific support for crisis pregnancies, providing shelter and nurturing to pregnant women and new mothers and infants through pregnancy, birth, and the months following.
